Garland Libraries Go Fine-Free

The library will no longer charge late fees on materials returned after their due dates. Library staff do ask that users be considerate of other patrons and return or renew borrowed items at their earliest convenience. Items that are not returned or renewed will be considered lost and the library will still charge for lost or damaged items. The charge for a lost item is the replacement cost, plus a five-dollar processing fee and you will not be able to use your library card until the item is returned or paid for and cleared from your account.  Our goal is to give more people access to the library, so please return your items.

The Garland Libraries are open

Library staff and patrons can choose whether or not to wear masks. We will continue to provide masks to anyone who wants one. We also ask that you wash your hands and make use of our many hand sanitizer stations throughout the Garland Libraries. Please visit our Holiday Closures page for our holiday schedule.
